where can I find a listing of all the different appearances of characters in Kevin's flicks??
Oh, ok. Just click right HERE.

is that Willam in Jay & Silent Bob #1?
You betcha, Willam appears in the book in all his non-hidden-picture seeing glory.

What other comic crossovers exist?
A milk carton in Clerks: The Comic #1 says "Missing: Shannon Hamilton," Indicating he may have escaped from prison.

Jay and Silent Bob #1 of 4: While Silent Bob is sitting on Tricia's recliner, he has a copy of Oni Double Feature #1 across his stomach.

There's a one panel cameo of the duo in the latest Desperate Times comic which appears in the back of The Savage Dragon, issue #53. Anyway, one of the characters in the story is looking to buy some pot, so they go to Jay and Silent Bob. Who else, right?

Big Helium Dog gets a nice plug in the Scud: Tales From The Vending Machine (issue 4, drawn by Clerks artists Jim Mahfood). This book's a spinoff with a different Scud every month, drawn by a different artist. Also, every book has an opening with suggested voice talents for the characters in the book. Mahfood chose Jason Lee as the voice for "D.J. Mind Trip".

This is taken from The Tick's "Yule Log Holiday Special 1997" (page 18), by the new writer and artist for the the Tick comics: Eli Stone (who is obviously a View Askew fan). Check out that background!

The April 29, 1998 Pittsburgh Post Gazette ran a comic, entitled "Brewed On Grant", featuring none other than Kevin himself.

Here's the imfamous comic panel from SPIN's trip to Comic-Con 97.

what's the deal with the YMCA/Ambulance panel in the Oni Double Feature?
That's Julie Dwyer, the guest of honor from the wake in Clerks. She was also mentioned by T.S. in the opening minutes of Mallrats.

if dante and gil have the same last name and look the same, are they twin brothers?
Nope. Just identical cousins.

is willam from clerks and willam from mallrats the same person?
Physically, no. Character-wise, yeah... There is a theory, which is kinda lame, but basically, it states that Clerks and Mallrats take place on different planes of reality. The truth of the matter is, Scott was going to play Willam again in 'Rats, but gave it to Ethan.

why did jay and silent bob change so much between clerks and mallrats?
The studio/distributor told Kevin that drug dealers aren't popular with audiences, so he toned them down.

are brodie and randal cousins?
It hasn't been officially stated, but the general consensus is that they are cousins, linked by their cousin Walt.

are silent bob and lafours related?
No, it is just a coincidence that neither of them speak much.

is the gwen mentioned in chasing amy the same gwen from mallrats?
Yes, and the Hamilton that is referred to - twice in the original script - is the same.

is alyssa the sister of heather and/or tricia jones?
Yes. Note Alyssa has a sister who "wrote a book".

is rick derris based on a real person?
No, just a composite of assholes who can't outgrow high school promiscuity.

what's julie dwyer's story?
She was a lesbian, according to Kev. Now she's dead. Alyssa *was* at the still unseen funeral.

what's the deal with john k?
He has a helluva lot of parties. See Clerks or The Mallrats book, but *not* the costume party mentioned Mallrats.

was that michael rooker as svenning in chasing amy?
No, it was a grip or something.

why wasn't brandi wearing socks in the chasing amy scene?
um ... because .. uh .. oh, I know! She wasn't making whoopie! Only oral sex. Different. No, really!

what's that I hear over the PA at the end of Chasing Amy?
at the Comic Con, when the loudspeaker says something to the effect of, "Manhattan Comic con proudly presents the sneak preview of Walt Falnagans Dog", if you listen carefully, you'lll hear the woman ALSO say, "Also, there's a little boy caught in the escalator.." A very rare Mallrats reference.
