What are the summaries?
The summaries are basically a compilation of all kinds of frequently asked questions and information that has appeared on the web board and in other mediums over the past four years.

How did the summaries come about?
A few years ago, a couple fans (Frank and Sean) set about to create a list of these questions so people could have a resource as to what questions have been covered repeatedly on the web board. Many people have contributed to the page. It is currently maintained by Brad and Chris from News Askew.

How do I use the summaries?
The easiest way to use the summaries is probably to take a little bit and read through all the questions. The questions are broken up into different categories in order to facilitate reading. Once you’ve finished reading all the questions, use the site as a reference guide. Whenever you have a question, come here and see if it is answered. If your questions isn’t answered, post it up on the message board.

How often are the summaries updated?
That depends on what’s happening. They are pretty much updated as they go, although they occasionally get major facelifts. The most recent update occurred in May 2000.

What happened to some of the old sections that used to be here like "Superman Lives" and "Mallrats Cut Scenes?"
Some of the older sections were "phased out" during the most recent updates. It was designed as an attempt to streamline the sections and cut out any of the older material that wasn’t relevant anymore. For instance, "Superman Lives" was incorporated into the "Kevin’s Non-Askew Projects" section. The "Mallrats Cut Scenes" section was removed because the cut scenes have since become available to most of us through the DVD release.

Is this material officially sanctioned by View Askew?
Yes and no. The people have contributed the information are mostly people who do not work for the company, although much of the information comes directly from Kevin’s posts. Brad and Chris run the official News web site for View Askew, and seeing as they oversee this web site, you can call this site pretty official.

How do I submit information to the summaries?
Easy. Just drop a line under the submissions section of the web page.
