Michelle Trachtenberg Joins The Cast…

  • Yesterday, we added a View Askew icon to the growing cast of “A Couple of Dicks”, now filming in New York City. Today, the beautiful Michelle Trachtenberg has been announced as a new cast member. Michelle will play the stepdaughter of Jason Lee’s character, and the DAUGHTER of Bruce Willis’s character. That connects some of the dots for us, right? We’re sure looking forward to the inevitable Willis/Lee interaction that’s gotta come from this.

As the cast continues to grow, we’ll continue to report. The great /Film also says that comedian Jim Norton will come onboard, which would make sense as Norton just filmed a cameo for “Zack and Miri”. We’re guessing Norton’s role will be another cameo type situation.

Filming on the flick continues in New York City, and we’re hopeful for a closer look before it’s all over. Here’s a bit of trivia for ya – What other ex-”Buffy” cast member had a small cameo in a View Askew production?

I’d call Dushku’s role more than just a cameo, but a valid point, she IS an ex-buffy cast member.

    I’ll give another hint…same film!

Marc Blucas (Riley – Buffy’s boyfriend in college) was Freddie from the Scooby Doo part of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

    I’m with laz… Marc Blucas.

    There’s other Buffy/VA connections.

Affleck was in the Buffy movie.
Matthew James (Shaggy in J&SBSB) was on Angel.

Also Jane Silvia who played Velma during the Scooby bit had a bit cameo on Buffy. So I guess the only one in that van who didn’t have a Buffy connection was Daphne.

Nicely done. We were thinking Blucas but you’re all very astute readers. Kudos!
