KEVIN SMITH

Dogma Role : Silent Bob

Character Summary : Quiet Sidekick

Other Notable Films : CLERKS, MALLRATS, CHASING AMY

Other Info : The brainchild behind Dogma is writer/director/editor, Kevin Smith, founder of View Askew productions. Smith's production company, based in Red Bank, New Jersey, began on a shoestring budget, used to film the now classic black and white feature film, "Clerks". Since then, Smith & co. have gone on to produce several follow-up films, including 2 directed by Smith himself. Dogma, ironically, the first script Kevin wrote, will be his 4th feature. Smith has appeared in the previous 3 films as "Silent Bob", and again reprises the role in Dogma. Alongside his loquacious partner Jay, Silent Bob has his largest role and toughest mission to date, including a memorable "bar scene" that must be seen to be believed.
