JASON MEWES

Dogma Role : Jay

Character Summary : Jay (Who Else?)

Other Notable Films : CLERKS, MALLRATS, CHASING AMY

Other Info : Mewes became a cult film icon in his feature film debut, 1994's Clerks. Since that memorable performance, Jason has gone on to appear as the character in both of Smith's follow-ups, as well as a different character in the rarely-seen "Drawing Flies". Kevin met Jason years ago when he worked in a recreation center, and became immediately enthralled by his antics. The "Jay" character is partly Smith's creation, yet also very much a part of Mewes himself. Along with his mostly soft-spoken partner, Silent Bob, Jay makes his fourth apperance in a View Askew film, with his most visibile, ambitious, and important role to date.
