- So blue, so pretty! DVDActive scores some beautiful high resolution cover art for the March 11th release of Dogma on Blu-Ray, marking the second View Askew Production to hit the format after Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back was released last fall. The disc will contain all the fantastic goodies on the Special Edition DVD previously out, but nothing new (other than a crisp new video and sound transfer, we’re assuming):

* 2.40:1 Widescreen Transfer (1080p)
* Audio: English Dolby TrueHD 5.1, French Dolby TrueHD 5.1
* Subtitles: English, English SDH, French, Spanish
* Cast and Crew Commentary
* Technical Commentary
* Deleted Scenes
* Cast and Crew Outtakes
* Jay and Bob’s Secret Stash Commercial
* Storyboards from Three Major Scenes
We’re gonna try and seek out a review copy so we can get you folks the scoop on the new transfer quality — We’ll check our usual contacts, though if anyone’s got a connection with Sony, let us know (as they rarely handle a View Askew flick for home release). The dawn of a new era is almost here, View Askew on Blu-Ray!

Dogma is the first View Askew production to hit blu-ray?
No love for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back I suppose.

Wow, it’s been a long week - Coulda sworn that title was an HD-DVD one. You’re very right. Gonna go correct this story. And thanks!

Not a problem. Hopefully Dogma will be the first “proper” blu-ray release.
If this review is any indication, we’re going to need a re-release of Jay & Silent Bob:
