We have a rare audio treat to start today’s edition of newsbites for you - Courtesy our scooper, Guest Services and Envision Radio Networks, we have over a half an hour of audio from Kevin’s radio tour held late last month. Much of these segements were taped for local stations where we didn’t have connections to record it. So, for the first time, many of you can hear what went down in these small interviews, which were conducted to promote the new book. The first interview with WAAF/Boston starts with a recorded tape of part of a previous interview, then the regular interview starts, followed by WRIF inDetroit, and other stations. The Buzz: Two friends, both in their late 20s and feeling various strains of adulthood, decide to launch an amateur porn studio — a knockout story for their upcoming high school reunion. I’m a huge fan of Kevin Smith’s work, and this sounds like a step back towards Chasing Amy, which is probably Smith’s best film to date.
Trivia: The Weinstein Company greenlit the project based solely on the title.
