- Two fresh DVDs arrived at the News Askew offices this week, and we’re ripping through the shrink wrap as we speak. “Small Town, Gay Bar” has been out for a couple of weeks now, and is available for purchase through the Stash SIGNED by director Malcolm Ingram. This memorable documentary features a bunch of extras which we’ll be diving into for a closer look. In the meantime, check out a brief mixed review of the film through JoBlo. The film really is quite compelling, and crafted and edited together very nicely.
And then we have something we’re quite excited to see, as we haven’t seen it before - Marvel’s “Then and Now” Q&A with Stan Lee and Joe Quesada, hosted by Kevin Smith, is now available for purchase! The disc contains of course the full program along with heaps of extras, including bonus interviews, behind-the-scenes, and more. You can purchase your copy via the Then And Now site, with proceeds benefitting the awesome Hero organizataion.
