  • Those of you aspiring to buy Kevin’s forthcoming book of essays and articles, “Silent Bob Speaks”, might be interested to hear this from the man himself:
There have been a few changes, re: the book. Harvey didn’t like the title (which was taken from the Arena column that largely provided the content for the
book in the first place) so he asked that it be re-titled to the more commercial “Silent Bob Speaks.” The release date was then shifted, too.

A January 5th release was originally scheduled, however no new date has yet been specified due to the changes. We’ll let you know when we have one.

  • We’ve been posting a lot of this stuff in bits lately, but in case you missed it, the entire Degrassi Press conference video
is now available, among other tidbits (interviews, photos, and the like), at View Askew’s Degrassi Page
Still no airdates solidifed for the States yet, though Kevin’s run remains scheduled for January in Canada, last we’d
    heard.
  • Since things have been a bit quieter ’round here lately, here’s a nice little interview with George Carlin
from Ohio. George will be performing in Zanesville, Ohio on Dec. 7 at the Secrest Auditorium, and is always a most entertaining way to spend an evening
with friends or a date (with a good sense of humor, of course!).
  • Well known German city magazine “Prinz” has a three page article about Liv Tyler ‘and her new Film Jersey Girl’ in its latest issue
(12/04). Yes, Jersey Girl is finally hitting cinemas in Germany on January 6th! There’s also an additional one page review combined with a preview
raffle; the review is quite positive, giving the flick 4 out of 5 points. Scans are on their way.

  • Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a hilarious, 15 minute cartoon on Cartoon Network’s late night programming entitled Adult Swim. The Aqua Teens
live in North Jersey. On adultswim.com there is a game based on Aqua Teen Hunger Fore called Carl’s Freakin’ Strip Poker. In this game you select a
character to play strip poker against Carl (the Aqua Teens’ neighbor). One of the selectable character’s name is Miss Turnpike Exit 37. We imagine this
must be a veiled View Askew homage, though we can’t be certain. See ya soon!
